Gewehr 3 (G3) Assault Rifle with early plastic hand grip and collapsible stock

The G3 is a 7.62 x 51 NATO assault rifle developed by Heckler & Koch (H&K) in collaboration with Spanish state-owened CETME. It has become one of the most widely used assualt rifles in the world and has been sued by the armed forces of over 40 countries. This example was manufactured under licence by FMP of Portugal designated the Espingarda m/961, a widley used weapon during the Portuguese Colonial War.

It has been deactivated to the latest EU specification. The buttstock and magazine are removable and the cocking handle can be drawn backwards and forwards. Supplied with Birmingham Proof House EU certificate.
