Mauser M48

Mauser Rifle model M48 Yugoslavian manufacture. The M48 is a post-world war 2 Yugoslavian version of the FN Mauser model 24 short rifle which was produced under contract by “The kingdom of Yugoslavia” Beginning in 1928 and ended by the Nazi occupation in 1941. After WW11 the Yugoslavs took this design and incorporated modifications based upon Germanys Mauser Karabiner 98K.
